Karen Wynn
Last week, Karen Wynn moved to glory as she left this world to make her home in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Karen will be sorely missed by the many individuals whom she touched.
Her kindness, laughter, and home cooking are just some of Karen’s irreplaceable hallmarks.
She was the most selfless mother and friend anyone could ask for, devoting her entire being to her children and all those she loved.
Karen Wynn, age 60, of Southern Hills, Richmond, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Baptist Health in Richmond.
She was born to the late Willard Wynn and Dorothy (Canady) Wynn on January 22, 1962.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Wynn, Phillip Wynn, Harold Bauer, Robert Bauer; and granddaughter, Adaline Turner.
She is survived by her seven children, Jason “Willie” Wynn of Richmond, Kentucky, Chara Wynn of Richmond, Kentucky, Elizabeth Jones (Preston) of Harlan, Kentucky, Donald Wynn of Harlan, Kentucky, Lance Wynn of Richmond, Kentucky, Adam Turner of Lexington, Kentucky, and Donna Star Turner of Brodhead, Kentuck; eight grandchildren, Layla Jones, Enoch Jones, Josiah Jones, Noah Sharp, Jonah Sharp, Abigail Wynn, Camden Wynn, and Baby Turner; sisters, Melinda Helton (Eugene Lawson) of Corbin, Kentucky, Shelia Allen (Donnie) of Corbin, Kentucky, Deborah Brackett (Randy) of Harlan, Kentucky, and Brenda Miracle (Glen) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; brothers, Lloyd “Sonny” Wynn of Harlan, Kentucky, Nathan Wynn of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Ricky Bauer of Williamsburg, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
A memorial service was Tuesday, May 17, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Jones and Rev. Phillip Wynn officiating.
