Just some random thoughts

 Just a few random thoughts to air out while I’m waiting to go to lunch today.

• Can you believe that the UK basketball team will have the top rated signing class for next year. One song comes to mind when I think of what is possible over the next couple of years and that’s Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days”. I think the Big Blue may be back.

• With Major League Baseball season in full swing, the injury bug seems to be biting my beloved Chicago Cubs over and over. The good news is that these things usually come at the beginning or the end of the season. Hopefully, the Cubs can battle through and when everyone is healthy, make a run at the division like so many expect them to do.

• It looks like the 50^th District baseball tournament could play out as an exciting couple of days. I haven’t been able to see as many games as I would have liked this season, but I hope I can get down to watch some postseason play.

• Finally, I have to say that I had a blast watching TNA Wrestling last week at The Arena. The fans were into it and I think the performers had a good night. I never realized what an athlete Angela Love was.
