Juana Dora Gonzalez

Juana Dora Gonzalez, 67, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Laredo, TX, she was the daughter of the late Guillermo Tamez and Valentina Tamez.

She was also preceded in death by her grandmother that raised her, Connie Lopez; and her sons Albert and Joe Gonzalez. Juana enjoyed flower gardening and doing craft work.

She is survived by her children Max Gonzalez, Dora Gambill, Sandra Gonzalez, Christina Holland, and Rachael Jenkins; grandchildren Andrea, Matthew, Joseph, Aurora, Damon, Serenity, Cody, Alex, Ryan and Mahayla; seven sisters; three brothers; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 12, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Vic Jenkins officiating.

Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
