JONES TO LEAD WHITLEY

Donnie Jones, an assistant coach for the Lady Colonels the last eight years, has been named head coach at Whitley Co. "I’m excited to get started," Jones said.
Superintendent Scott Paul commented, "I can’t imagine finding a better person to lead our program than Donnie. He knows the girls, he knows the school and he knows basketball. In addition, he’s been successful at every level in our system and I expect him to continue to keep Whitley County among the best programs in Eastern Kentucky."

congratulations mr. jones. you were the perfect candidate for the job. your an outstanding coach on the court and an even better person off it. theres no doubt in my mind that the colonels will be left in good hands. i cant say enough about the job scott paul is doing in our school district. keep up the good work. you both will always be my coach
