Johnny Rogers

Johnny Rogers, age 68, of Marvin Brooks Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital of London surrounded by his family. Johnny was born on March 14, 1953 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late William Jesse and Anna (Laney) Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Dewey Rogers, brother, Aubrey Dale Rogers and his brother-in-law, Leland Hart.
Johnny was a horse and mule enthusiast. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Hart and Alta Hensley (Mike), all of Corbin; two brothers, Glen Rogers (Pat) and Ralph Rogers (Laura), all of Corbin; Terry Hart, who Johnny thought of as a brother of Corbin; good friends, Josh Moses, Mike Baird, Wade Faulkner and Mike Canada, all of Williamsburg, C.J. Clark of Rockholds and Cody Cooper of Corbin; sister-in-law, Tammy Rogers Osborne (Darrell) of Corbin: and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 3, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Farmer officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Hart Cemetery on Eatontown Road in Corbin.
