Jewell Dean Grillon
Jewell Dean Grillon, 78, of Highway 904 East, Williamsburg departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home.
She was born on August 2, 1940 in Williamsburg, to the late Clinton and Hattie (Carroll) Broyles.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Jack, Doyle and Drew Broyles; sisters, Blanche Vanover and Louise Willoughby; and a niece, Sherry Fryman.
Jewell was the Treasurer for the Patterson Creek Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years and a member of the American Legion Post #88 Auxiliary.
She was survived by her husband, Raymond Grillon of Williamsburg; three children, Ray Grillon (Heather) of Orlando, FL, Adrian Grillon (Carla Anders) of Williamsburg and Mark Grillon (Melissa) of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Gabriel Grillon, Clinton Josph Grillon, Destiny Grillon, Dustin Grillon, Nicole Grillon, Brooke Grillon, Dakota Douglas, Chastity Skiles, Josh George and Sommer Douglas; great-grandchildren, Camden Clevidence, Watson Clevidence, Ledger Douglas, Lennox Douglas, Alana Skiles, Alyssa George, Skyler George, Trent George, Christian Partain and Maxx Partain; three sisters, Betty Fryman (James), Norma Lawson and Joyce McCullah (Benny) all of Williamsburg; nieces and nephews, Jason McCullah, Jacob McCullah, Julie McCullah, Debbie Powers, Cindy Lawson, Connie Monhollen, Jay Fryman and Kim Lockheart; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 30, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Highland Park Cemetery.
