Jewell D. Paul
Jewell D. Paul, born on a beautiful day of July 18, 1940, in Cumberland, Kentucky, was a beacon of light in the lives of all who were fortunate to know her.
Jewell was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a treasured sister.
She was an anchor in her family, providing unconditional love and ceaseless support to her four children, Vickie (Carl), Wayne, Deborah (Delano), Tammie (Terry), and Melissa (Billy); her brothers, Richard, Burt, and Steve; and her sisters, Teresa, Julie, and Kathy. She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren, Billy, Del, Shelly, Austin, Mark, James, Stephanie, Jennifer, Haley, and Bailey; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jordan, Aaron, Ethan, Emily, Kandice, Katelynn, Andrea, Bryson, Kendyll, Lukas, Dalton, Isaac, Isabell, Savannah, Davian, and Cheyenne; and three great-great-grandchildren, Hunter, Aubree, and Waylon with two more on the way.
Jewell’s legacy is carried on by her loving family, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Paul; her parents, George and Majorie Randle; her brothers, Robert, David, Ronnie, and Harvey; her sisters, Brenda, Helen and Faye; and her granddaughter Kennedy Hudson.
Before her retirement, Jewell served the community of Williamsburg, Kentucky as a medical aide at Williamsburg Health and Rehab. In her work, she exhibited the same compassion and dedication that defined her as a person. Her ability to make others feel cared for and valued was a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Jewell’s life was celebrated at a funeral service at Croley Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11.
Interment followed at Randle Family Cemetery, in Williamsburg.
