Jessie Martin

Jessie Martin, 93, of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home in Lexington.

She was born October 23, 1924 in Whitley County, to the late Mathew and Mary Ellen Harp Walters.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marion Martin, and a son Carl Martin.

She is survived by a son Roy Martin of Nicholasville; granddaughter, Anna Ragan  (Jack) of Wilmore; great grandson, J.P. Ragan of Wilmore; sister, Ocie Cox of Eubanks; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, May 19, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Janus Jones officiating.

Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
