James “Doc” Huffman, Sr.

James “Doc” Huffman, Sr., age 79, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on November 17, 1942 to the late William A. Huffman and the late Leola (Greer) Huffman.
Doc is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie (Hayes) Huffman of Williamsburg, Kentucky; five children, James Huffman, Jr. (Linda) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, William Huffman of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Tressa Sisk (Tracy) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Joshua Huffman (Cindy Lewis) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Crystal Sheffield of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Rebecca Huffman, Stephanie Walker (Jerry), James Huffman III, Daimeon Sheffield, Riley Huffman, Grace Huffman, William McFarland, Michael Huffman, Justin Sisk (Courtney Smith), Jason Sisk, and Courtney Brofford (Robert); thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Huffman of Georgia and Junior Huffman of Florida; sisters, Vedra Huffman and Jean Huffman both of Danville, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Huffman; sister, Janice Huffman; niece, Carol Huffman; and daughter-in-law, Virginia McFarland.
Funeral service was Sunday, October 2, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Bowman officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery.
