James Dean Smith

James Dean Smith, 63, of Big Creek in Clay County, Kentucky departed this life on January 3, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was born to the late Morris Smith and Eva (Rose) Smith on April 22, 1958 in Corbin, Kentucky.
James was survived by wife Stella (Bush) Smith of Big Creek, Kentucky; three children, Jason Dean Smith of Texas, Brandy Marie Gutierrez of Michigan and Tiffany Grace Watson of Michigan; three stepdaughters, Connie Sue Mathis of Kentucky, Jennifer Michelle Miller of Kentucky and Sharon Renee Miller of Kentucky; one brother, Don Smith of Florida; four sisters, Sue Allen of Kentucky, June Rogers of Ohio, Ann Baker of Kentucky and Bonnie Hembree of Kentucky: several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
His family will be having a graveside service on Thursday, January 6, at 1:00 PM at the Highland Park Davis Addition Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
