Jacob James “Jake” Cassidy

Jacob James “Jake” Cassidy, 18, of Newcomb, TN passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Jellico Community Hospital.

He was born July 05, 2000 in Jellico, TN.

Jake was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Cassidy; great grandparents, Mildred Lay, Mary Phelps, Sylvester Ellison, James Alvin Cassidy

He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Jessica Lay and Roger Perry; grandparents, Bert and Becky Ulrich, Mary Day, Charlene and Jr. Lay, James and Lori Cassidy; great grandmothers: Ollie Ellison, Gracie Sears; brothers, James Edward Cassidy, Jonathan Bowling; sisters, Elizabeth and Donavan Rowe, Haley Perry, Kelly Bowling, Alyssa Perry; aunts and uncles, Bert and Teasa Ulrich, Dustin and Autumn Lewallen, Amy Lay and Tim, Tiffany Barnett, Angela Broyles, Sylvester and Kim Ellison, JJ Lay, Geraldine Rich, Willie and Sam Day, Travis Cassidy, Devon Cassidy; and a host of friends and family to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 27, at the Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Burial followed in the Valley View Cemetery.

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
