JACKETS ROLL PAST DEVILS
Senior quarterback Dalton Sizemore ran for three touchdowns and passed for another three in leading the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets to a 43-14 win over the Knoxville Halls Red Devils Friday night.
Coach Jerry Herron’s team spotted Halls a one-point lead, 7-6 before outscoring the Red Devils, 37-7.
Corbin scored two touchdowns late in the third quarter and held off the Southwestern Warriors, 14-0 in the Ray Correll Bowl at Somerset High School. Taylor Waddle scored with 1:44 left in the third quarter to put the Redhounds ahead 6-0. The PAT was good and the ‘Hounds took a 7-0 lead.
Jake Coppock added a touchdown early in the fourth quarter for the win.
The Redhounds will host Perry Central Friday night in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic while Knox Central will take on Southwestern.
