Jack Jones
Jack Jones, 71, of Corbin, passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
He was born in Corbin to the late Floyd Jones and Laura Taylor Jones;
Jack was the owner / operator of Jack’s Wheel Alignment on the Falls Road.
He was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Jones; twin brother, Jerry Jones; and by a nephew, Justin Jones.
Jack is survived by his wife, Wanda Jump Jones; daughter, Misty Grega and husband Joey and their children, Nathan and Leah; daughter, Heather Wagers and husband Curtis; brother, Paul Jones and wife Ruby and their daughter, Cynthia Barton and husband Jamison, and great nephews, Eli and Wesley; brother, Johnny Jones; sister, Phyllis McCoy and her daughter, Patra Rogers and great nephew, Cooper; brother in law, Jimmy Jones and wife Tammy and their two children, Tish Hill and husband Vince, great niece Taylor and great nephew Conner; and Tim Jones and wife Shawna, and great niece, Ayleena; and by his additional nephews, Kevin and Keith Jones; and by a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the
Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
Graveside service followed at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
Pall bearers were Grant Collette, Roger Hale, Jim Jones, Arnold Hamlin, Addison Hamlin, Mark Vyrley, and David Robinson.
Honorary pall bearers were Joey Grega, Curtis Wagers, Stuart Hamlin, W.L. Campbell, Paul Jones, and Johnny Jones
