Ina Johnson

Ina Johnson, 97, of Lot Mud Creek Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, TN.

She was born on January 5, 1920 in Williamsburg, to the late Murriel Carpenter and Summer Bennett Carpenter.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Johnson. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her four sons, Foster Johnson (Barbara)  of Corbin, Gillis Johnson (Brenda) of Independence, IN, Wayne Johnson (Mary) of Paris, TN and Ray Johnson of Morning View, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Polly Siler of Highland Heights, KY; three brothers, Arvil Carpenter of Williamsburg, Carl Carpenter of Burlington, KY and Junior Carpenter of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 26, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Siler-Anderson Cemetery on Mud Creek.
