I-75 intermittent lane closures scheduled through Friday, Aug. 6 in Whitley County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that intermittent lane closures will occur this week on I-75 southbound from mile point 11.2 to the Kentucky-Tennessee border in Whitley County due to asphalt rehabilitation operations.

Work is ongoing daily through the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and is expected to conclude on the morning of Friday, Aug. 6.

Motorists are advised to use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers. The work is dependent on weather conditions.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
