Homer Hill, 62, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born September 11, 1954 in Whitley County, to the late Walter Thomas Hill and Mary Ruth Anderson Hill.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers Woodrow, George and Ernest Hill and a sister May Bunch.
Homer was a member of Yaden Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Shelia Hill of Corbin, four children April Middleton (Derek) of Woodbine, Durand Hill (Jessica) of Williamsburg, Dakota Hill of Keavy, Jason Maggard (Becky) of Campbellsville, four grandchildren Shelby Hill, Jasmine Maggard, Piper Maggard and Colton Maggard, mother Mary Ruth Hill of Williamsburg, three sisters Maxine Partin (Ronnie), Izella Manning and Julia Turner (Charlie) all of Williamsburg, three brothers Everett Hill (Cora), Perry Hill (Brenda) and James Hill all of Williamsburg, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held November 5, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Dillard Cupp officiating.
Following the service he was laid to rest in the Ellison Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
