Holmes 72, Lex. Catholic 56

Catholic made a nice run in the second half and cut the lead to ten, 50-40, but the Dawgs pulled away for a 72-56 win.

The difference…the defense on Vee Sanford was great. He was held to 2 of 16 from the field. He has carried the Knights all season but was stopped in his tracks tonight.

Holmes definitely looked like the team to beat with four players scoring at well. Brothers Jeremiah and Ricardo Johnnson led the way with Botkin and Beckham following suit.
