Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center was named “Senior Living Community of the Year” by Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc.
This award is given to a senior living community who exemplifies greatness and excellence in caring for the older adults in their community. Criteria includes: unparalleled quality in clinical care, exceptional rehabilitation outcomes, innovation and leaders in their industry, maintain compliance and quality standards, outstanding customer and employee satisfaction, commitment to community in which they serve as well as a progressive response to the future of our aging America.
Hillcrest was nominated by Kelli Smith, Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Manager. Each nomination was reviewed by the awards panel at Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc. located in Greenwood, Ind. This award is one of five awards given at Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc. during their annual awards program.
Here is an excerpt from Kelli Smith’s nomination: “Hillcrest Health & Rehabilitation Center is most deserving of this award for their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of our residents. I am so proud of our therapy team for working together to raise over $900 this past September. Our team used these funds to engage our residents in activities such as a petting zoo, horse and buggy ride, and fall festival. We are blessed by the overwhelming support from of our administrator Gail Gibbs and Director of Nursing Penny Partin. Every person at Hillcrest is dedicated to serving the residents and the community of Corbin.”
This award was presented to Gail Gibbs and her outstanding team by Jennifer Witt, Regional Director with Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc.
