High School Football Round-Up: Week 10
Regular season district play wrapped up this week in high school football action.
The Corbin Redhounds went on the road and shut out the Wayne County Cardinals, 38-0, to improve to a perfect 9-0 on the year. The Hounds will attempt to finish out the regular season with an unblemished record next week when they host Campbell County.
Meanwhile, the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets took care of business at Lynn Camp High School Friday, defeating the Wildcats, 42-6, and improving their record to 6-2 on the year. The Jackets will host Perry County Central in their regular season finale next week. Lynn Camp, now 2-7, will go on the road to face the McCreary Central Raiders.
Finally, the Whitley County Colonels successfully extended their season in week 10, picking up a 47-18 win over visiting South Laurel and qualifying for an appearance in the 2022 Class 5A playoffs. Whitley will host the Danville Admirals to finish out their regular season schedule next week.
