High School Football Results – 8/28

 It was mostly a good night for coverage area football teams Friday.

The Corbin Redhounds (2-0) defeated Waggener (Louisville) 28-6 in the 2015 Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic.

The Whitley County Colonels (1-1) picked up their first win of the 2015 season with a 47-38 road victory over the Middlesboro Yellow Jackets.

And the Lynn Camp Wildcats (1-1) sent their fans home happy after defeating visiting McCreary Central 26-22.

The only coverage area team that wasn’t successful Friday night was the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (0-2), who fell to visiting Somerset 41-20.
