Henrietta “Henri” McCullah Furchtenicht
Henrietta “Henri” McCullah Furchtenicht, 60, of West Liberty, Iowa and formerly of Williamsburg departed this life on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Mercy Hospice in Iowa City.
Henrietta was born October 9, 1955 in Jellico, TN, the daughter of Boyd Clyde and Nellie (Bowlin) McCullah.
She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Clyde; sisters, Rose Edith Paul and Carol Thrasher; and a brother, Jack McCullah.
On September 1, 2007 she was united in marriage to Craig Furchtenicht at their home.
Henri was employed with Oral B in Iowa City for 25 years, she enjoyed the outdoors, sitting on her porch and being around people.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Furchtenicht of West Branch, Iowa; son, Anthony (Sandra) Hill of Oneida, TN; mother, Nellie McCullah of Williamsburg; sisters, Ella “Betsy” Couture of Sylvania, OH, Goldie Blakley of Williamsburg, Birdie McCullah of Williamsburg, Joyce (Gilbert) Huddleston of Williamsburg, Evelyn (Phil) McCullah-Brennenstuhl of Williamsburg and Gail (David) Buck of Williamsburg; special niece, Pat Rose (Jim) Thompson of Toledo, OH; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday, September 17, at Croley Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 17, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
