Helen Brummett England
Helen Brummett England, of Greensburg, daughter of the late James A. Brummett and Melda Morgan Brummett, was born on Friday, November 11, 1932 in Williamsburg, and departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.
She was 85 years, 2 months, and 11 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Wofford Missionary Baptist Church in Williamsburg, and was a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Richard Ezra England on June 14, 1958 who preceded her in death on April 16, 1995.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Khristy England of Summersville, Junior and Nancy England of Campbellsville, Todd and Amy England of Greensburg; two daughters and sons-in-law: Robin and Greg Smith of Russell Springs, and Tammy and Joey Davis of Green County; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles and Elizabeth Brummett of Williamsburg and Clyde and Wilma Brummett of Somerset; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special family: Walt, Deana Parrott and Girls, Ann Lee, Mike Judd and children all of Greensburg, and Nancy, Greg Smith and children of Lawrenceburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mrs. Helen Brummett England were held on January 27, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Houk officiating.
She was laid to rest in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Jason England, Joey England, Eric Rupe, Greg Smith, Joey Davis and Jerry Morgan served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were current and former employees of Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
