Harold Ray Barton Sr

Harold Ray Barton Sr., age 72, of Engineer Street, Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on March 18, 1949 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Mae (Davis) Barton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Gregory) Barton and brothers, Billy Delbert Barton and Paul Edward Barton.
Harold worked for Pepsi Cola and Corbin Knox Ambulance Service. He loved watching UK Basketball and racing.
He is survived by his son, Harold Ray Barton Jr. and wife Alice of Rockholds; daughter Patricia Renee Barton, of Corbin; two grandchildren, Lyndsey Paige Robinson (Andrew) and Levi Blake Barton; two great-grandchildren, Hagan Barton and Lillie Barton; three brothers, David Barton (Jean), Darrell Barton (Amanda), and Donnie Barton (Jeanette), all of Corbin; his special church family of Trinity Baptist Temple; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Thursday, September 23, at Trinity Baptist Temple in Corbin.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 23, at Trinity Baptist Temple with Rev. James Hodge and Rev. Stacy White officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in Corinth Cemetery in Corbin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made towards funeral expenses.
