Harold J. “Roundman” Neeley
Harold J. “Roundman” Neeley, 78, of Corbin, departed this life on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at his home.
The son of the late Conley Isaacs and Ella Neeley, Harold was born May 18, 1939, in Jackson County.
Harold was a retired Railroad Switchman, of the Pentecostal faith, he was a former deacon and member Dorthae Pentecostal Church.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dessie O. Neeley, one son, Doug Young; two sisters, Debbie Isaacs and Jeanette Worrell and two brothers, Cecil Isaacs and Homer Isaacs.
Harold is survived by two sons: David Young and wife Connie of Corbin; and Dwain Neeley of Lexington; three sisters, Helen Lynch and husband Herschel, Ona Howard and husband William all of Jackson County, Nita Albright and husband Jim of Hamilton, OH; three brothers: Toni Isaacs and wife Rebecca, Jack Isaacs and wife Cheryl all of Connersville, IN, and Stanley Isaacs and wife Thelma of Jackson County; four grandchildren, Tanner Young, Lindsey Neeley, Sydney Neeley and Derrick Young and wife Tara; and two great grandchildren, Dazlyn and Daegan Young; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on January 3 at the O’Neil – Lawson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, at 1 p.m. at the O’Neil – Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Evans and Terry Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Coye Worley Family Cemetery off of Spruce Creek Rd, with family and friends serving as pallbearers
