These employees worked full time and took care of their families while completing nearly 80 modules and passing 80 assessments. While the national average for completing the CMAA class is 78 percent with only 88.8 percent of those passing the exam, Grace Health is proud to announce that 100 percent of its fifth cohort completed the training program and passed the national certification exam.
Newly pinned CMAAs Loretta Reedy and Tracy Reid placed in the top 20 of over 100 Grace Health employees who have taken the exam in the past three years. Classmates Crystal Bobbitt and Ginger Gould tied for the top third score in their class.
Kelly Philpot, a Grace Health front office receptionist, successfully facilitated and led the training for this cohort. During the pinning ceremony, Grace Health HR Generalist Patty Miller presented Philpot with the Together We Can award for Philpot’s commitment and dedication to helping others as a trainer and a co-worker. As a further testament to her commitment and hard work, Philpot recently received a promotion to Front Office Lead for the Grace Health Levi Center and Manchester clinics.
