Glen Edward Rountree

Glen Edward Rountree, age 73, of Glen Rountree Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Jellico Medical Center in Jellico, Tennessee.

Glen was born on February 23, 1947 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Annie (Moses) Rountree.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Arvide Rountree and Arlie Rountree; and sisters, Shirlene Byrd and Dora Howard.

Glen attended Canadatown Holiness Church.  He loved to sing and Praise the Lord. Glen loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Moses) Rountree of Williamsburg; daughter, Anita Vance and husband Danny of Annville, Kentucky; granddaughter, Jessica Teague and husband Joseph; four great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Carrie, Gage and Alaina; sisters, Dessie Moses, Rusha Caddell and Joann Moses, all of Williamsburg; brother, Estil Rountree (Audrey) of Jupiter, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 2, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 3, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Canada, Rev. Rodney Sulfridge and Zack Canada officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Little Wolf Creek Church of God Cemetery.
