George Payne

George Payne, age 83, of Corbin, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Williamsburg, KY at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 3, 1938 in Knox County, KY to the late Ezekiel Thomas and Callie Ann Spicer Payne. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Payne, James Donie Payne, Olene Teague, Eula Longworth, Erma Archer, Faye Etta Taylor, and E. Thomas Payne.

He is survived by two sisters, Roberta Taylor of Mishawaka, IN, and Brenda Payne White of Prince George, VA; one brother, Lester Ray Payne of Russiaville, IN; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Graveside service was Saturday, November 20, at Slusher Cemetery with Rev. Dillard Cupp officiating. Interment will be in Slusher Cemetery.
