Friday night scores – 10/24

 On Friday, October 24, the Corbin Redhounds solidified their status as 2014 Class 3A, District 4 champions with a 41-0 road victory over Casey County.

Williamsburg also officially became district champs, defeating Lynn Camp 69-0 at home to go 3-0 on the year in Class 1A, District 5 competition. The win gives the Yellow Jackets a 9-0 overall record as well.

And the Whitley County Colonels had hopes of coming out on top of the standings in Class 5A, District 8 this year, but they fell one step short when they failed to defeat Letcher County Central on the road. The Cougars won by a score of 42-28 to take this year’s district title.
