Friday Night Highlights
The Corbin Redhounds had high hopes Friday evening when they traveled to Somerset to take on the 5A state championship runner-up Pulaski County Maroons in the Ray Corell Bowl, but in the end Pulaski was just too much, winning by a final score of 39-13.
Back in Corbin, the Lynn Camp Wildcats hosted Louisville Atherton, who were able to take home a 39-14 victory.
The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets had no trouble turning away Halls, TN. In front of a home crowd, the Jackets won easily, 45-18.
And the Whitley County Colonels made the long trip over to Pike County to take on the Pike Central Hawks, but the game ended up being delayed due to nearby lightning.
