Four from Whitley arrested in Tenn. on meth-related charges

Three Williamsburg residents and a Jellico man are facing felony methamphetamine charges after they were arrested by police in Tennessee during a traffic stop Tuesday.
According to the Blount County Sheriff’s Department, Billy Lee Johns, 33; Ashley Deane Johnson, 25; and Danny Ray Osborne, 37, all of Williamsburg, along with 40-year-old Scotty Mack Griffith of Jellico were arrested. All four are currently lodged in the Blount County Jail awaiting trial.
Investigators say they were told of "suspicious" individuals purchasing and attempting to purchase pseudoephedrine from a store in Blount County on Tuesday. The drug, a common ingredient in many of the most effective over-the-counter cold medicines, is a primary component used in methamphetamine production. Griffith and Johnson allegedly bough pseudoephedrine from a pharmacy there.
Police pulled the four over for a traffic violation on Alcoa Highway. Griffith, Johnson and Osborne told authorities they had purchased the pseudoephedrine so they could make meth.
A fifth person who was riding in the vehicle was not charged.
Griffith is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine and he is being held on a $55,000 bond.
Johnson was charge with promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in jail on $50,000 bond. She was also wanted for warrants issued in Campbell County, Tenn.
Osborne is charged with with promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He faces and additional charge of criminal impersonation for allegedly giving police a bogus name during the traffic stop. He is being held on $57,000 bond and was also wanted on a criminal warrant from Whitley County.
Johns is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and posssession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held on a total of $7,000 bond.
A four are scheduled for an arraignment hearing on the charges Oct. 28.

you just don’t know what all happened that day, and no Blly didn’t rat on any one u stupid idot u don’t know what all went on. i do know tho so u just need to quit running ur mouth about stuff u know nothing about,tht is what is wrong with the world today people are always taking about stuff & they don’t even know what went down, all they know is that they think it is fun to make fun of people or run their mouth about them, and fyi that was Billy’s first time in trouble with the law over something like that why don’t u do some research on the rest of them and u will see y their bond was so high and his wasn’t.
meth is the worstest thing to ever happen to our country
Hopefully these people will be able to turn their lives around after all this is said and done.
Why is Billy Lee Johns bond so much lower?? Does he sing that well??
they all look so pitiful and unhappy. drugs is terrible. they need church.
