Four arrested in connection with early-morning meth bust in Williamsburg
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department discovered a meth lab early Monday morning while conducting a welfare check near Williamsburg.
Lt. Dennis L. Foley responded to a residence at 78 Letha Petrey Road to do a welfare check after getting a calling from a man’s wife, who claimed that he might be in danger at the residence.
When Foley arrived at the residence, he received permission to enter the home to speak with the man and smelled a strong chemical odor commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine. A meth lab was discovered in plain view.
Police also located two small children inside the residence.
