Former Corbin assistant basketball coach Madison Johnson was acquitted Tuesday after being accused of rape.
A former Corbin High School assistant basketball coach, who was charged with the statutory rape of a then 16-year-old student in November, was vindicated in court Tuesday.
Madison Johnson, 26, was found “not guilty” of third-degree rape and unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities in Knox Circuit Court.
The jury of eight men and four women deliberated for almost three hours before returning the verdict about 8 p.m.
