Forcht Bank’s, ‘Stick a Forcht in Hunger’ food drive continues through Dec. 20

Forcht Bank locations throughout the area are part of a company-wide effort to, “Stick a Forcht in Hunger.”

The third annual event seeks to collect non-perishable food items, which will be donated to local food banks. The food collected at each branch will be donated to a food bank within its area.

Food collected in Williamsburg will go to Emergency Christian Ministries.

Corbin branches are collecting for the food pantry at Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church.

Food collected in London will be donated to Community Cooperative Care.

Donations in Barbourville will benefit KCEOC.

The food drive will continue through Dec. 20.

Mike Sharpe, Regional President at Forcht Bank, said a friendly competition exists between the employees at each branch to see which one collects the most food in a given week.

Donations may be brought to any Forcht Bank location in Kentucky or the Cincinnati, Ohio area between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday

In 2017, Forcht Bank collected more than 41,000 non-perishable food items.
