Floye Phyllis Vastine

Floye Phyllis Vastine, age 84, of the Rockholds community, departed this life surrounded by her family on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Hillcrest Health and Rehab in Corbin, KY.
She was born on Monday, May 2nd, 1938 in Rockholds, KY. to the late John Cupp and Ethel (Mckeehan) Cupp.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vastine; sisters, Dorothy Cox, Ruth Johnson, Barbara Pulaski and Orena Hill; brother, Conley Cupp and two grandsons, Mike Canady and Richard Canady.
She is survived by daughters, Denise West (Jerry) of Williamsburg, KY, and Melissa Morris of Williamsburg, KY, and Alyssa Canaday – great-granddaughter whom she adopted of Williamsburg, KY; special friend, Rhonda Kay Taylor of Williamsburg KY. four grandchildren, Joseph Gibson, William West, Miranda West and Kacie Hersey; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was Tuesday, October 18th, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Bargo and Billy Burk officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Ryan’s Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY.
