Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. presents The Platters
The Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. presents The Platters, Friday, August 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Corbin High School Auditorium.
Since forming in 1953, The Platters have recorded 400 songs, have sold over 80 million records, and have appeared in 90 countries.
They have received over 230 awards from all over the world. The Platters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and were inducted into the United Group Harmony Association Hall of Fame in 1994. Come enjoy their distinctive sound and memorable hits like “Only You,” “The Magic Touch,” “The Great Pretender,” “My Prayer,” Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,” “Twilight Time,” and “Harbor Lights.”
Individual tickets for the show can be purchased for $30 at the door.
