Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. Presents The 5 Browns
The Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. is pleased to present a performance by The 5 Browns, Thursday, March 8, 7:30 p.m. at The Rollins Center, University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
The 5 Browns are delivering on their dream to wake up classical music by introducing it to the widest, largest and most excited audiences they can find. The group, consisting of five sib- lings — Ryan, Melody, Gregory, Deondra and Desirae — all attended New York’s Julliard School. They are the first family of five siblings ever to be accepted to the school simultaneously. The 5 Browns have released three CDs that each went to No. 1 on Billboard Magazine’s Classical Album Chart. The group tours extensively and has performed in numerous venues including the Grand National Theater in China and Suntory Hall in Japan. In the United States, the group has played in such places as The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Symphony Hall in Chicago and Alice Tully Hall in New York City. They have also been featured in a new PBS TV special “The 5 Browns in Concert” airing on PBS stations nationwide.
Individual tickets for the show can be purchased for $30 for adults, $10 for students at the door day of show.
