   I think it was a senseless pre- meditated murder. Wilson I hope you get many years to think about the torment you have caused this young man’s family.

   The only known history of these two is that Larry Wilson was seeing Todd’s wife. He said that he didn’t know that she was married at the time they were together. According to Larry Wilson, (in the transcript) Todd Carter had threatened him on two other occasions.

   I am not a big fan of Larry Wilson but Shana, don’t you think that you would be ****ed if you were sitting in your truck at the Rootbeer stand and someone came up and hit you in the face with a mug. The picture they had of Larry being escorted into the jail shows him bleeding from his eye. He was apparently hit with something and I wouldn’t think that a tray would cut him like that. I don’t condone the fact that someone lost their life to such stupidity but I also believe in defending yourself. No one knows what Larry’s intentions were when he pulled that trigger but now he is going to have to face whatever consequenses there is to go along with it, and he is going to have to live the rest of his life knowing that he took a mans life.

   IF it happened as the audio claims, I see nothing wrong with the way Mr Wilson handled it.

   I’m curious if anyone knows of their being any history between these two?

   Yeah. As much as I hate to admit it looks like Estep and the gang really scored big on this one. The Times has a transcript of it but who wants to read a transcript when you can actually hear the recording. They didn’t follow through with what they started and that is disappointing. It is so much better this way. Keep up the good work.

    Let’s see, did anyone else hear the anger in his voice when he said he shot the son of a bitch? I’d like to know which weapon he truly hit him with the mug or the tray or his fist. He keeps switchin it. Is he truly hurt? He went from its bleeding to its killing me to I’m not hurt but he is? HHMMMMMMMMMM! Too bad we still don’t allow the punishment to fit the crime….An eye for an eye! Probably would be less violence in the world.

    If in fact, he did hit him in the head/eye with a mug then it was self defense. I didn’t actually see the incident. It’s a shame he killed the guy but… you never know who might kill you. People are crazy, especially this day and time. It seems anything goes!!

    I love how this is an “exclusive” for the News Journal, when the Times Tribune, and Samantha Swindler in particular, went though all the work of getting the call released in the first place, and was the first to post the transcript. The Tri-Counties owe Ms. Swindler a lot for making sure we have a transparent government.
