Emily Faye Lindsay
Emily Faye Lindsay, 84, of Buck Creek Road, Williamsburg departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on September 16, 1933 in Frakes, to the late Smith Partin and Nannie (King) Partin.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Florence Partin and Neddie and Nancy King; brother, Rev. Horace Partin and sister, Helen Partin.
She is survived by her husband, D.C. Lindsay of Williamsburg; two children, Kim White and husband Lee and Michael Lindsay and wife Faye of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Chasity Williams, Jake Kerr, Christa Thornton, Casey Barnett, Michael White and Tyler White; seven great-grandchildren, Carter Barnett, Benjamin Williams, Hunter Thornton, Emma Kate Barnett, Conner Thornton, Aubree Kerr and Zackary Kerr-Bryant; seven brothers and sisters, Leon Partin (Carlee) of Williamsburg, Dean Partin (Janice) of Williamsburg, Ernestine Smith the late Jim) of Jacksonville, FL, Vickie Lunsford (Jim) of Corbin, Janice Sweet of Corbin, James Partin (late Doris) of Knoxville, TN and Shirley Patterson (late Roy) of West Virginia; sister-in-law, Evelyn Partin of Williamsburg; brother-in-law, Marshall Partin of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Bramble officiating.
Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery.
