Doyle Ray Marsee

Doyle Ray Marsee, 75, of Jellico, TN went to be with The Lord on Friday June 15, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Nell Mayes Marsee and Willous Marsee and his beloved son, Marty Marsee.

Ray was a member of Masonic Lodge #488 F&AM of Powell Valley Tennessee for over 50 years. Ray served as deacon at the Crouches Creek Baptist Church in Jellico, TN. He will be truly missed in his community.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Elsie Ann Treece Marsee, granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Marsee; grandson, Dr. Marty Ray Marsee Jr., daughter-in-law, Michelle Timmins (Greg) and many other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Serving as pallbearers; Chauncey Beeler, John Beeler, Jody Beeler, Bill Douglas, Nathanial Pressnell, Ronny Dunn; honorary pallbearers, Sam Sharp, Mark Bowlin and Rick Ridenour.

The funeral service was held Sunday, June 17, with the Masonic service provided by Powell Valley Lodge #488 F&AM at the Crouches Creek Baptist Church in Jellico.

Internment as held Monday June 18, in the Douglas Cemetery at Wooldridge, TN.

The Llewellyn Funeral Home of Jellico, was honored to serve the Marsee family.
