Donnie Chadwell

Donnie Chadwell, 73, of Duff, TN passed away Wednesday morning, February 21, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 21, 1944 in Jellico, TN. He was an honorably discharged veteran who served his country in the United States Army. He was of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Chadwell and Edna (Thomas) Chadwell.

He is survived by wife, Helen (Snyder) Chadwell, of Duff, TN; children, Donald Chadwell, Donna Stanley, David Chadwell, and Donna, all of La Follette, TN, Chris Snyder, of North Carolina, Daniel Snyder, Jewel Rosales, and Elizabeth Chadwell, all of Duff, TN; grandchildren, Gavin Ayers, Kallie Hicks, Christa Hicks, Matilda Rosales, Cadence Hicks, Donnie Lewis, Isaac Snyder and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Chadwell, of Carbon, Indiana and Kenneth Chadwell, of La Follette, TN; sister, Jewel Leach, of La Follette, TN; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and other relatives to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, February 24, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matthew Bolton officiating.

Pallbearers were Chris Snyder, Daniel Snyder, Chris Hicks and Gavin Ayers.

Burial followed at the Chadwell Cemetery in the White Oak Community of Campbell County.

Military graveside honors were conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard, Arlie Long Post # 154.

The Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of all arrangements.
