The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 25:
Tammy Lynn Manes, born in 1966, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance prescription not in original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, $600 fine plus court costs.
Sarah Marie Mills, born in 1983, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree criminal trespassing – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, $400 fine plus court costs.
Kimberly A. Morris, born in 1961, speeding 10 mph over limit, failure to use child restraint device in vehicle – $60 fine plus court costs.
Jeffrey C. Murphy, born in 1986 – $500 fine of which all but $50 is probated, plus court costs.
Billie Satterfield, born in 1973, no/expired registration plates, failure to produce insurance card – $50 fine plus court costs.
Larry W. Satterfield, born in 1964, disregarding a stop sign, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $125 fine plus court costs.
Joshua A. Scott, born in 1989, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required auto insurance – $500 fine of which all but $50 is probated, plus court costs.
The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 26:
James Childress, failure to notify address change, expired registration, expired registration receipt, no insurance – $575 fine of which all but $225 is conditionally discharged, 90-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years.
James Baynard, born in 1980, bench warrant issued – pay $208 fine or go to jail.
Daniel E. Hinkle, born in 1983, bench warrant issued – pay $183 fine or go to jail.
Rick E. Hodge, born in 1974, bench warrant issued – pay $158 fine or go to jail.
Scott A. Jones, born in 1979, bench warrant issued – pay $258 fine or go to jail.
Danny Peace, born in 1975, bench warrant issued – pay $208 fine or go to jail.
Darrell Ray Rose, born in 1976, bench warrant issued – pay $185.50 fine or go to jail.
Timon Rose, born in 1969, bench warrant issued – pay $263 fine or go to jail.
Timon Rose, born in 1969, bench warrant issued – pay $233 fine or go to jail.
Paula Watson, born in 1965, bench warrant issued – pay $25 fine or go to jail.
The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 27:
Casey Lyn Adkins, born in 1977, receiving stolen property under $500 – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 35 days already served, plus court costs.
Melissa Bennett, born in 1983, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500, second-degree fleeing or evading police – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years after first nine days are served, credit two days already served, balance of sentence to be served on weekends, stay out of Dollar Store.
Tyler E. Bunch, born in 1994, violation of Kentucky E.P.O./D.V.O. – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, no contact with Julie Vanover, must obey DVO order.
Joshua Couch, born in 1994, improper equipment – $25 fine plus court costs.
David Eugene Eversole, born in 1974, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, attend alcohol and drug education classes, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, $200 fine plus fees and costs.
Misty Chiffon Henson, born in 1976, fourth-degree assault domestic violence – charge dismissed without prejudice after classes were completed as ordered.
Donna M. Hubbard, born in 1973 – motion to revoke probation granted, 90-day jail sentence.
Donna M. Hubbard, born in 1973 – motion to revoke probation granted, 90-day jail sentence, sentence consecutive or in addition to prior sentence, may file for shock probation once restitution is paid in both cases.
Sabrina Hudson, born in 1985, controlled substance prescription not in original container – $50 fine plus court costs.
Scott Kirklin, born in 1986, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500, third-degree criminal trespassing – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 15 days already served, $25 fine plus court costs, stay out of Vendor’s Mall.
Jeffery A. Lambdin, born in 1985, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.
Timothy A. Lawson, born in 1984, fourth-degree assault domestic violence – charge dismissed after completion of classes as ordered.
Douglas Malone, born in 1972, fourth-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, no contact with Kenny Smith or his family.
Jack McCullah Jr. born in 1963, third-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving on a DUI suspended license – six-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, credit 17 days already served, operator’s license suspended for 24 months, $500 fine plus court costs.
Patricia A. Norris, born in 1976, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.
Ross A. Perry, born in 1996 – charge dismissed without prejudice after terms of diversion were completed as ordered.
