Three Corbin players scored in double figures as the Redhounds downed the South Laurel Cardinals, 73-66. Junior Kevin Goins led the Redhounds with 19 points. He had 12 points in the pivotal fourth quarter, including three 3-point shots after South Laurel had climbed with one (47-46) to end the third quarter.
Senior Zach Farley, who scored seven of the first nine points, finished with 15 points. He helped Corbin get off to a 13-0 lead in the first period. Freshman Trevor Hill added 12 points in the win.
The victory was Corbin fifth district title in a row.
