Derrick Wayne Marsee

Derrick Wayne Marsee, 38, of Ed Carr Road, Rockholds, departed this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Joseph of London in London, KY.

He was born on March 17, 1981 in Corbin, to Leland and Susan (McKeehan).

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Emerson McKeehan; grandmother, Marie Sproule and step-grandfather, G.C. Sproule.

Derrick was a member of Browns Creek Church of Christ. Derrick enjoyed making friends and did not know a stranger.

He is survived by his parents, Leland and Susan Marsee of Rockholds; two sisters, Danielle Marsee Dietlin of Clinton, TN and Denise Chandler (Kevin) of Rockholds; nephews, Gabriel Dietlin, Mason Dietlin, Aiden Moses, Brody Moses, Coby Moses and Noah Chandler; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, May 25, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank VanZant Jr. officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Browns Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.
