Dennis E. Elswick

Dennis E. Elswick, 72, of Hwy 90, Corbin, departed this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on May 3, 1945 in Whitley County, to the late Owen Elswick and Tempie Elswick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Elswick.

He is survived by his wife, Verna “Canada” Elswick of Corbin; six children, Loretta Calhoun of Corbin, Marvin Dale Ridner of Corbin, Jerry Ridner (Tammy) of Williamsburg, Charlotte Smith (James) of Corbin, David Elswick (Kathy) of Corbin, and Denny Elswick of Corbin; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 20, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

He will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Church of God Cemetery on Craig Road, Williamsburg.
