Deloris Faye Waters

Deloris Faye Waters, age 67, of Hart Mine Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Thursday evening, March 4, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was the mother of Marion Lee Waters and wife, Tiffany of Clarksville, Tennessee. She was the grandmother of Madison Waters of Clarksville, Tennessee. She was the sister of Eugene Stepp and Cecil Stepp both of Corbin, Kentucky and Phyllis Mason and husband, Larry of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was also blessed with nine loving nephews and six loving nieces and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Blair and Mary Faye Hammons Stepp; one brother, Marion Johnny Stepp; and one sister, Debra K. Jamison.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the West Corbin Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Ms. Deloris Faye Waters will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, March 9 in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Albert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Deloris Faye Waters will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday evening, March 8.
