David William Smith

David William Smith, 72, of Hamilton, OH; formerly of Jellico, TN went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2018 at Laurel’s of Hamilton in Hamilton, OH.

David was preceded in death by his mother and father; Genevieve Partin Smith and Perry Smith, two brothers, Denver and George Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Angie (Stanley) Sherrod of Knoxville, TN; one grandson, Jacob Sherrod, two great-grandsons, Mason and Jackson Sherrod all of Knoxville, TN; three sisters; Sue Lindsay of Williamsburg, Patricia Jones of North Carolina and Kathy Perry of Covington; several nieces, nephews and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Rev. Vernon Jones officiating.

Interment followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.

The Llewellyn Funeral Home of Jellico was honored to serve the Smith family.
