Danny John Brittian

Danny John Brittian, 69, of Heritage Cove, Cartersville, GA (formerly of Williamsburg) departed this life on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Redmon Memorial Hospital in Rome, GA.

He was born on December 7, 1947 in Lexington, to Robert Jay Brittian and Thelma (Smith) Brittian.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jay Brittian; son, Danny Bob Brittian; and brothers, Bob Brittian, Jimmy Brittian, and Carl Brittian.

He is survived by two daughters, Heather Shroyer (husband Scott) of Williamsburg, and Danelle Brittian of Rockford, IL; mother, Thelma Smith Brittian of Carterville, GA; four sisters, Delores Brittian, Sue Hook (Ray), Ann Reynolds (Marty), and Gretta Shepherd (Mike), all of Cartersville, GA; six brothers, General Brittian (Audrey) of Cartersville, GA, Benny Brittian (Valerie) of Adairsville, GA, Wayne Brittian of Corbin, Chuck Brittian (Mary) of Cartersville, GA, Teddy Brittian (Ollie) of Cartersville, and Pat Brittian (Starr) of Adairsville, GA; six grandchildren, Kerrigan Anderson, Isaac Wehler, Wesley Shroyer, Dylan Anderson, Riley Shroyer, and Landon Brittian; many nieces and nephews,  and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 29, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ivan Siler officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Woods Cemetery on Hwy 904.

Military graveside honors were conducted by the Keavy DAV 158, Keavy, Kentucky.
