Jerry D. Hunley, 84, of Rockhold, passed away on Thursday Sept. 20, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.

Funeral services for Jerry D. Hunley will be held at 2pm on Sunday Sept. 21, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Millard Petrey

Millard Petrey, 67, of Petrey Lane, Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at his home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday, September 20 at Croley Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Sturdivant officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Canadatown Cemetery.

Mark Medlin

Mark Medlin, 46, of Gray, passed away on Saturday Sept. 20, at home surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held on Monday Sept. 22nd from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin; and on Tuesday Sept. 23rd from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Rossland Holiness Church in Gray.

Funeral service for Mark Medlin will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 23, at Rossland Holiness Church.

Helen Flora Brooks, 95, of Highway 26, Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center in Williamsburg.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the funeral hour Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Croley Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

Edwin Paul Rains Sr.

Edwin Paul Rains Sr., 67, of Valdosta, GA passed away Sept. 19, at Select Medical Hospital in Tallahassee, FL after a brief illness.

At the request of Mr. Rains he will be cremated and memorial services by the family will be held at a later date.

Conley A. “Buster” Cornett, 38, of HC 73, Barbourville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, in a motor vehicle accident on Browns Creek.
