Corbin woman charged with drug possession Wednesday

A traffic stop Wednesday led to the arrest of a local woman for drug possession, according to Corbin Police Chief David Campbell.
Erie Canada, 43, of Corbin, was charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance following an investigation by Corbin police officers Glenn Taylor Jr. and Bill Rose.
Officers observed a vehicle allegedly speeding down Master Street and stopped the car in the parking lot of Corbin Station shopping center. Police say they witnessed the passenger, Canada, attempt to hide a pill bottle during the stop. Taylor and Rose located the bottle and discovered five different types of controlled substances inside.
Canada was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

Officer Taylor is a dirty police officer anyways, he probably didn’t see her doing anything at all and just felt the need to look like a big shot. They probably weren’t even narcotics…
