Corbin woman charged with assaulting police K9

A Corbin woman involved in a standoff with police last week in London faces an additional charge assaulting a service animal – specifically Laurel County Sheriff’s Department K9 Maverick – whom she allegedly struck as he worked to bring the standoff to an end.
